Why do we crave and want so ferociously? What is it we so desire? We chase anything we think can fulfill us – even if for just a moment. We use people, potions, and possessions to numb the pain deep within. Just to smile and laugh – just a little more.

We want back to the Garden – we want back home, but we don’t know where it is. But God knows and He sent Jesus to return our hearts home. But so many build neon gods instead because we can see and touch that. Yet, they are only cheap substitutes to the love of Christ.

Hearts willing and welcoming become fountains of worship – and we find the peace we long for. Though the pains of the world still surround us – we know we are placed under the wings of a great God. Protected, known and loved – just as we are.
